A landing page is the deciding factor for the eventual outcome of the entire exercise. It is often the make or break point for any successful campaign to take off. A good landing page is compact, concise and yet appealing, hitting on the main purpose without any secondary distractions or unnecessary roadblocks.
So what is it that makes a good landing page that stands out in a crowd, disrupting the user's attention and compelling them to take notice of the call to action. While there is nothing singular about a good effective landing page that makes it stand out from the rest, there are a combination of factors that contribute to building a good landing page.
They are simplicity of design and page layout, effective and to the point communication and an attractive call to action. Often it is one thing that separates a good landing page from a bad one, the simplicity of design and effective communication. If the design is too congested, the elements of design overlapping on each other and multiple call to action buttons, it could result in a hugely disappointing and fruitless campaign.
